Pick-Your-Own
Our pick-your-own fields are one of the sweetest ways to experience the seasons at Grelen. Throughout the year, guests can wander the fields and orchards gathering raspberries, blackberries, peaches, and apples, all while enjoying the beauty of the surrounding landscape. We also celebrate the harvest season with locally sourced favorites like strawberries and pumpkins, bringing even more reasons to return throughout the year. Whether you’re filling baskets with family, meeting friends for a sunny afternoon, or creating a new seasonal tradition, our PYO experiences are designed to be simple, joyful, and savored slowly.
Grelen Trails
The Grelen Trails feature six miles of scenic paths winding through nursery fields, wildflower meadows, and old-growth forest across Grelen’s breathtaking 1,000-acre property in the Virginia foothills. Designed for all ages and skill levels, the dog-friendly trails offer everything from leisurely walks to sweeping vistas overlooking Grelen Nursery. Connected to James Madison’s Montpelier trail system through a Virginia Treasure-designated connector trail, visitors can explore more than 15 miles of natural beauty throughout the surrounding countryside.

From hands-on gardening classes and creative workshops to behind-the-scenes nursery tours, The Market at Grelen offers experiences designed to inspire every season.
